Stopping to Kiss the Flowers

Last weekend we went to Girdwood with some friends. We had a really nice time, though I confess some part of me wished to be child-free and getting drunk. I missed out on the hot tub too. While I will post some more Alaskan beauty photos soon, I thought these would be great to share for the 4th of July. Color appropriate, or mostly so. Our Miss June, who loves to stop to kiss the flowers.

Photographed by Adam.

Happy Fourth of July!

  1. Beautiful photos, Amy. When you get back, we'll watch June and you and Adam can go out and get drunk. :-) Or better still, stay in and we'll all get drunk!

I hope you're finding some time to relax amongst all the studying, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all when you return.

  2. beautiful pictures of june...

i'm still celebrating june days in my mind... :)

    she's a darling.

  3. what sweet photos! and a beautiful girl as usual :)
    Happy 4th to you too!

  4. Those flowers are nearly as big as she is. How cute! Happy 4th!

  5. They are the most beautiful photos.

  6. Beautiful photos!

Hey, I KNOW you don't have time, and PLZ ignore--unless you want--but I gave you an award on my blog....

You were my first, just about!

  7. Heh, wish you were here! We're planning an all girls camping trip the weekend of Aug 1st. I'm bringing the Bean, as there will be a multitude of 'aunties' to look after her, but you better believe there will be some drinking involved!

Well now I know what to serve you when we do finally get to meet up. :-)

  8. Thanks everybody for the comments.

Veronica! Thanks for chiming in. I have been thinking of you and wish I could give you a hug. (If this is the Veronica I think it is anyway!)

And Hootchie Scooter Mama, I would dearly love to get a beer with you. Screw tea!

    Christy: THANK YOU.

  9. I finally caught up, though I still haven't had a chance to blog myself. I'm so behind, on everything. How much longer do you have here? Should we attempt to get together??? You just sound so busy! My sister is here right now, too. I love all of the beautiful pictures of June, by the way! Good luck with the studying.

I always, always, always love comments. (Okay, except maybe not the nasty ones.)
