Birth Inspiration ::

A friend of mine, Daniela, gave me this gift at my shower/tea party. First, the box. Appropriately magical.

And now her.

Isn't she lovely?
Adam pointed out that she looks like an alien. I agree.
But there is something about how her eyes are stylized that seems appropriate. Perhaps it is a zone you have to get into during labor. I can't quite put my finger on it.

But I love having her and I'm glad to be bringing her to my birth. I like just holding her in my hand.

Today is my first due date. Hoping, wishing, he comes today.
