Just now, June is asleep. I've been reading "Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child," and trying to assess what the next step in sleep training will be. She is actually a really good sleeper. But I would like to gently wean her, and I would like her to not be so reliant on nursing to sleep. So far, the book has great information and I like it a lot.
That looks like fun. I've got to get some sidewalk chalk again for my kids to play with- they love it as well.
ReplyDeletevery pretty porch you have there :)
ReplyDeleteMay I also suggest "The No-Cry Sleep Solution For Toddlers and Preschoolers". We are also trying to nightwean our son and get him to sleep longer stretches, and the book has great techniques on gently nightweaning your toddler. So far we've got him to go until about 5 am without nursing. Whoo hoo, more sleep for mama!
The sidewalk chalk looks like so much fun. Your compositions are awesome. I love how you frame them in a way that makes it look like a photo of a particular moment, instead of just a portrait of a beautiful child.
ReplyDeleteI want some sidewalk chalk! :)
ReplyDeleteI just posted a pic of MY baby playing with chalk drawings, too.....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up Christy. The photo is great!
ReplyDeleteGood idea on the sidewalk chalk - we haven't tried that yet.
ReplyDeleteWe still love sidewalk chalk. I think it's one of those things you never outgrow.
