A little bit more

This is my favorite recent photo. It was taken by Adam.

It seems like she is about to peek through her legs and look back at the camera, but really she is prepping to stand. Our sweet little walker.

  2. That's a great photo! I liked your breast feeding post. I'm sad Aidan is our last (planned) baby and once he's weaned I'll probably never breastfeed again. I have a little time, but still...

  3. Your baby is so cute! I like your blog and your photos. I'm into making things by hand as well, and sharing+saving. I like the way you write.

  4. Thanks ladies!

She is growing and changing so fast.

Tara: ditto. I don't know if we will have another, though I dearly hope so. June is down to just breastfeeding at night and I will be so sad when it ends.

  5. It is sad to stop nursing. After my c-section, breastfeeding made me feel like a competent woman. (Crazy, I know...)

So when I stopped for the last time, last baby, I thought how much being able to nurse made me feel better about being a mom, with all my flaws and insecurities, and how it really was the beginning of "Act Two".

  6. Christy,

The feelings we have after labor are not crazy. I never wanted to have any interventions during my labor.

With nursing I can always feel like a good mom, like my daughter is receiving good nutrition. I think that is a good thing.

And I like how you phrase post-nursing as an Act Two.

I always, always, always love comments. (Okay, except maybe not the nasty ones.)
