Okay there are really two coolest things ever. But just now, the very best one is what just happened tonight. I was reading June this book, and there is a line in it that goes, "Rhinoceroses snort and snuff, and little dogs go ruff, ruff, ruff." This has been one of June's favorite books for awhile now, and it is warped from water spills and the edges are peeling off. So tonight, as I was reading to her, she kept giving me this funny look. I wasn't sure what the look was all about, but it was intense. I kept reading it, and we had to start and stop a few times because June has a way of turning the pages and closing the book and then we restart.
Well this time, after I said, "Rhinoceroses snort and snuff, and little dogs go ruff, ruff, ruff"...
June said, "ruff, ruff, ruff."
I couldn't believe it and stared at her stunned. She says little things after me like "up" and "bye" and "kitty," and she has a way of pointing at your nose and saying, "nO!" but this came as a big surprise.
I tried to get her to say it again, but she did not.
It sure was cool.
(Here is the other coolest thing ever.) I predict that soon, everyone will be using them.
