He took the kids out for a grouchy grumbly walk on the beach on Saturday. Or at least that is all I heard about it after. He neglected to tell me about the massive iceberg that had gotten stranded there like a beached whale.
I've never seen anything like it.
Wow! That's amazing. I can't believe he took these with his phone! They're great. I can't wait to go to the beach with you guys!!
ReplyDeleteThat's incredible! How close are you to the beach? I love the tiny pops of color of the kids' coats against all of the monumental gray.

ReplyDeleteI haven't visited blogs in a loooong time, and I love the look of your blog! Especially your title block. And this is a great entry! I should take the kids down there, it's easy to get busy & forget to do those fun things.
ReplyDeleteTara, thanks for stopping by! I made the banner using picnik.com. It was fairly simple - I'd recommend it. You just need 4 photos you like.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteAnchorage is on the coast.. our house is less than a mile from the beach I'd say. Adam drove the kids out to a place called point woronzof though. It is a bit of a drive, but only about 5-7 miles probably down the coast from our house.
